Italský fanklub EvanescenceVille objevil v lednu tyto nové zprávy: Amy Lee se zúčastnila natáčení filmu "The Seventh Turn" režiséra Erica D. Howella a zřejmě by se měla objevit i na jeho soundtracku. Autorem hudby k filmu je Michael Wandmacher. Film zatím nemá oficiální datum vydání. Je to ten tajný projekt, o kterém Amy zatím nesmí mluvit?

The Seventh Turn: Krátký film o nebezpečí gaslightingu ve formě psychického týrání.
[Gaslighting je forma psychické manipulace a citového zneužívání, ve které se pachatel snaží zasít pochybnosti v cílovém jednotlivci nebo v členech cílové skupiny, čímž pak manipulované osoby zpochybňují vlastní paměť, vnímání reality a svůj zdravý rozum - zdroj; pozn. překl.]
"Když mladý muž projíždí nocí se svou těhotnou snoubenkou, zmanipuluje ji pomocí gaslightingu, aby se podřídila, dokud se v temné zatáčce na silnici před nimi neobjeví tajemná žena připomínající ducha. THE SEVENTH TURN je alegorie založená na španělské městské legendě o manipulativní síle gaslightingu a nahlíží na lidskou slabost, kterou lidé zneužívají.
Máme v úmyslu natočit krátký oscarový film o tom, jak se gaslighting používá k dominanci a kontrole a oslovit co nejširší publikum tím, že film nabídneme organizacím působícím v oblasti domácího násilí, podpory obětem a vzdělávacího prostoru."
Michael Wandmacher: Dokončoval jsem s naším štábem naprosto neuvěřitelný film, když došlo k evakuaci. Hudba pro tento film a vlastně doslova ani jedna nota nebo zvuk by neexistovaly bez @AmyLeeEV. Nikdy jí nebudu moct dostatečně poděkovat za to, že byla tak nadšená, že ji tak zaujal můj bláznivý nápad a že zkusila něco, co ještě nikdo neudělal. Sledujeme a slyšíme finální produkt, který tak plynule zapadá do příběhu a zvládne fungovat i jako samotná postava... stálo to za to, stálo to za každý cent nejistoty, bezpočet předělávek, slepých uliček, šílených dlouhých hodin a touhy všechno vzdát, ale nakonec jsem to dokázal. Amy zůstávala po celou dobu mou neúnavnou fanynkou a pak, na samém konci, poslala soudtrack až někam ke hvězdám. Ten zbytkový bzukot z toho zážitku mě ještě pořád drží v chodu. #životskladatele
Michael Wandmacher: Geniální režisér, skutečná rocková ikona, jeden z nejelitnějších filmových audio inženýrů na planetě a... já. Pokaždé, když tvořím hudbu s touto partou, výsledek je krásný a zároveň vzniká něco, co mě posouvá daleko za hranice toho, co jsem si myslel, že dokážu. Jsem každému z nich nesmírně vděčný za to, že jsou součástí mého života a práce. The Seventh Turn: A short film about the prevalence and danger of gaslighting as mental abuse.
As a young man drives through the night with his pregnant fiancé, his gaslighting manipulates her into submission until a mysterious, ghost-like woman appears at a dark curve on the road ahead. THE SEVENTH TURN is an allegory based upon a Spanish urban legend about the manipulative power of gaslighting and glimpses into the weakness that harmful people exploit to perpetrate it.
We intend to make an Oscar worthy short film about how gaslighting is used to dominate and control, and then reach the broadest audience possible by offering the film to organizations working in the domestic violence, survivor support, and educational space.

I was finishing a totally incredible film with this crew before coming back to being evacuated. The score for this film, literally not one note or sound would exist without @AmyLeeEV. I’ll never be able to thank her enough for being so enthusiastic about entertaining my nutty idea and trying something no one’s ever done to create a score. Watching and hearing the final product weave so seamlessly into the narrative and stand on its own as a character itself was worth every cent of uncertainty, countless do-overs, dead ends, crazy long hours, and wanting to give up that I pushed myself through. Amy remained a tireless cheerleader throughout and then, at the very end, sent the score into the stars. The residual buzz from the experience is keeping me going. #composerlife @EricDHowell
